2nd Motif

Sunburst Circle

Yarn: Worked in three colors, A, B, and C.
Special Abbreviations: Beg cl = beginning cluster made from 2dc sts.
                                   cl = cluster made from 3 dc sts.

Foundation Ring: Using yarn A, ch 4 and join with sl st to form a ring.
Round 1: Ch 1, 6sc into ring, join with a sl st into first sc.
Round 2: Ch 1, 2sc into next sc 6 times, join with a sl st into first sc ( 12sc).
Round 3: Ch 1, 2sc into next sc 12 times, join with a sl st into first sc. (24 sc). Break off yarn A.
Round 4: Join yarn B to any sc, ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), beg cl into same sc, ch 2, miss next sc, * cl into next sc, ch 2. miss next sc; rep from * 10 times, join with sl st into top of beg cl. Break off yarn B.
Round 5: Join yarn C to any ch 2 sp, ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), beg cl into same sp, ch 3,* cl into next ch 2 sp, ch 3; rep from * 10 times, join with sl st into top of beg cl.
Round 6: ch 3, 2 dc into top of beg cl, 3 dc into next ch 3 sp, *3 dc into top of next cl, 3 dc into next ch 3 sp; rep from * 10 times, join with sl st into 3rd st of ch 3.
Fasten off Yarn.

Trinity Stitch

Trinity Stitch is usually worked in one color and the crochet fabric looks the same on the right and wrong sides, making this stitch ideal for items such as scarves where both sides can be seen.

NOTE  CL = cluster made from three single crochet stitches worked together (sc3tog)

Foundation Chain: work a multiple of 2 chs.

Foundation Row: (WS) 1 sc into 2nd chain from hook. CL inserting hook first into same ch as previous sc, then into each of next 2 chs, * ch1, CL inserting hook first into same ch  as 3rd st of previous CL, then into
each of next 2 chs: rep from * to last ch, 1 sc into same ch as 3rd of previous CL, turn.

Row 1: Ch1, 1 sc into first st, CL inserting hook first into same placeas previous sc, then into
top of next CL, then into next ch 1 sp,* ch 1, CL inserting hook first into same ch 1 sp as 3rd st of previous CL, then into top of next CL, then into next ch 1 sp: rep from * to end working 3rd st of last CL into last sc, 1 sc into same place, turn.

Rep row 1 for length required.

Cluster Circle

Yarn: worked in one color
Special Abbreviations: Beg cl = beginning cluster made from 3 dc sts.
cl = cluster made from 4 dc sts.

Foundation Ring: Using yarn A, ch 6 and join with sl st to form a ring.

Round 1: ch 1, 12 sc into ring, join with sl st into first sc.
Round 2: ch 4 (counts as 1 dc, ch 1), * 1 dc into next sc, ch 1; rep from * 10 times, join with sl st into 3rd of ch 4. (12 spaced dc)
Round 3: Sl st into next ch 1 sp, ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), beg cl into same sp, ch 3,*cl into next ch 1 sp, ch 3: rep from * 10 times, join with sl st into top of beg cl. (12 clusters)
Round 4: Sl st into next ch 3 sp, ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), beg cl into same space, * ch 2, 1 dc into top of next cl, ch 2, ** cl into next ch 3 sp: rep from * 10 times and from * to ** once again, join with sl st into top of beg cl.
Round 5: Ch 1, 3 sc into each ch 2 sp of previous round, join with sl st into first sc.
Fasten off yarn.

Hello Everyone, I finally have time to put a new stitch on. This stitch is called "Angled Clusters"

Angled Clusters

Note: CL=cluster made from four DC stitches worked together (dc4tog)
Foundation Chain: Work a multiple of 5 chains plus 4

Foundation Row: (RS) 1 sc into 4th chain from hook, * ch 3, CL over next 4 chs, ch1 1 sc into next ch; rep from * to end, turn
Row1: ch5, 1sc into next CL, * ch 3 CL into next ch3 sp, ch1, 1sc into next CL; repfrom * endaing last rep with ch3, CL into next ch3 sp, ch 1, 1dc into last sc, turn

Row 2: ch1, sk first st, 1 sc into next CL,* ch3, CL into next ch3 sp, ch1, 1sc into next CL; rep from * ending last rep with 1 sc into sp made by ch 5, turn.

Rep rows 1 & 2 for length required, ending with a row 2.
